    Daisy, Daisy, Daisy. I love the Great Gatsby and despite hating this character with possible; I’m in love with her fashion. Her breezy ease is just beautiful. Thinking nudes and whites, loose fabrics that just drape the body perfectly.. textbook: daisy buchanan was definitely the most ensnaring of all the east/west egg residents. she was portrayed as a young, beautiful socialite with a deep need for affection.  daisy harbored a secret love for jay gatsby that unfolds throughout the book despite her husband, tom buchanan.  by all accounts she was superficial but only in efforts to mask her own issues and unrequited love, much like many of long island’s current residents.  kidding, daisy is actually a perfect mirror for most of today’s young aspiring socialites. regardless of my social commentary, daisy would definitely be sporting the collections of desireable fashion houses…especially with her husband’s immense fortune. 1: sweater by michael kors, dress and shoes by peter som2: dress by isaac mizrahi, shoes by oscar de la renta3: jacket by donna karan, pants by ralph lauren, shoes by michael kors
